Shipping & Delivery Policy

Flat $12 USD delivery, dispatch within 1 to 2 business days from Scotland, to 5 destinations, with fragile glassware packed to arrive intact.

01 / What delivery costs

Flat $12 USD, shown before you pay.

Standard delivery is a flat $12.00 USD per order to every destination we serve. The charge is displayed at secure checkout before you pay, and is never added afterwards.

Members receive free delivery: Sugar House Club on orders over $75 USD, Host's Circle on every order. See Membership.

02 / When we dispatch

1 to 2 business days, from Scotland.

Orders are picked and packed at our facility in Scotland, United Kingdom, and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Orders placed at a weekend or on a public holiday are processed on the next business day.

You receive a dispatch confirmation email with carrier tracking as soon as your parcel leaves us. If we expect a delay beyond these timescales, we will contact you before charging.

03 / Where we deliver and how long it takes

Estimates from dispatch, not from order.

We currently deliver to the following destinations. All estimates run from dispatch:

Estimates are not guarantees. Carrier delays, customs inspection and severe weather can extend them. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the top of the estimate, contact us and we will open a carrier investigation.

If your country is not listed at checkout we cannot deliver there yet. Email support@sughoutra.shop and we will tell you when that changes.

04 / How we pack fragile items

Glass is packed to survive the carrier network.

Glassware and other fragile pieces are individually wrapped, suspended away from the carton walls and packed with recyclable moulded protection. Cartons are plain and unbranded, and do not disclose their contents. Please open a parcel carefully and away from children, and check glassware for chips before first use. If anything arrives broken, our Refund & Returns Policy covers a free replacement.

05 / Customs, duty and import tax

Outside the UK, duty may be payable by you.

Orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom. For destinations outside the UK, import duty, taxes and customs clearance fees may be charged by your country when the parcel arrives. These charges are not included in our prices or delivery fee and are your responsibility as the importer. They are set by your government, not by us, and we cannot predict or refund them. If a parcel is refused and returned because import charges were not paid, we refund the goods less our outbound and return delivery costs.

06 / Addresses, failed delivery and loss

Check your address; risk passes on delivery.

Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. We cannot change an address once a parcel is dispatched. If an order is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, or because it went unclaimed, we refund the goods less our delivery costs, or re-send once you pay delivery again.

Risk in the goods passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave, or to a neighbour or safe place you or the carrier nominated. If a carrier records delivery but you cannot find the parcel, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate with them.
